We have been in the translation business since 1979 (30 years) and translation accounts for about eighty percent of our business. We currently have 9 in-house language professionals who take care of the various aspects involved in translation and whose individual skills safeguard the high standard of our service.
We have created scores of glossaries with industry-specific terms to enhance the service we offer our customers (focused on food, ceramics, fashion, engineering and mechanics, marketing and advertising, for example). Our pool of over 250 professional, freelance translators caters for all language pairs.
All the documents we translate, including those handled out-of-house (into Italian and out of Italian), are translated by expert, mother-tongue translators who have passed a selection process we put in place several years ago. They are then proof read twice in-house so our customers can be confident of the highest possible standards of translation. We also make full use of the potential offered by internet for the verification of the correct use of terms, expressions and specialist terminology.
We have been working with Donato Grosser since 1989, the New York marketing consultancy firm that publishes guidebooks for businesses aiming at exporting to the U.S. and which we distribute throughout Italy. We have been involved in a number of marketing and consultancy projects with Mr. Grosser and have also carried out research to locate potential contacts in the U.S. for goods "Made in Italy".
